Team not so Silly Shot

So back in the late 90's when I took this I was a photographer for the school paper and often when I took group photos like this I would ask for a "silly shot" hoping the people would cut lose. This was a disappointment.

I wish I could remember who these people are. I knew two or three of them but what they're all doing together I couldn't say. I think this was a dance team or something.

Puds Cousin

I had two pictures like this because I took this shot with an old film camera back in 1998. I can tell you that that was my Canon AE-1 Program and that this was taken with Kirkland Signature 400 speed film. The only truly interesting thing about this picture is that the second one was given to the fellow who inspired Spud in my Jonny American comic. 

It turns out that this is his cousin. Oddly after I gave him the first copy he then saw the second a few days later and pestered me about it for ten minutes. I can't figure why he would want a picture of his cousin so badly. Then he was a druggy who stuck crap up his nose.

This is a head shot I took for my high school news paper back in 1998. Look at that smile. To some of us geekier kids this woman was all the world. She never said much to me, but I'm sure there is still a geek somewhere thinking about her.

I call this one Absent because I believe there was something here once. I think it was a hook or fastener that held this cage closed. Whatever it was was long gone 16 years ago when I took this as were the animals that once lived here.

This is another photo I took around the turn of the century back in 1999. I've no idea what the thing was doing in that tree. 

Double Delights

These are 'Double Delight' roses and the hint of yellow is from cross pollination with my 'Talisman'. These roses are to open to be harvested for table toppers or such but then I planted them for my sister back when we were getting along. 

To this day I believe she still plans to remove the roses from this garden.

My Mother

This is my mother as she is best remembered to me. I think this was taken before I was born because she looks happy and healthy. I think this is after she got married, because she never talked about dogs before then. Ah, well, remember the good parts right?

Some Time in the 70's

A light restoration on this image makes it look like something out of a horror movie. What are those black spots? I'm beginning to think that  digitizing these old images wasn't the best of ideas. 

My mother late 70's

So, this was my mother when she was young and before she had me. It's not that great of a picture and mom is sporting some thick eyebrows. Well, she never put this in her wallet but rather left it in a book but it had to have sat out for some time because look at how torn up this thing is now.
