Tuffy Titan of Pioneer High School in Whittier 1997

This photograph was particularly hard to recover because of it's age and level of damage. It looks like something out of the nineteen seventies, but I believe it to be shot in ninety seven. The titan had just been replaced with this Greek monstrosity.  

I think this is based on the Greek God Dionysus who is a god of wine, theater, and the like. He is not a member of the elder gods known as Titans. 

It says something about a school that has an uneducated depiction for a mascot, but I doubt if the Greeks are offended by this misunderstanding of their culture. 

Titan Stadium in Whittier 1997

This is a football stadium at my old high school. Grass is brown and yellow in parts. I don't know why I took this image but I did, and it fits with the way the school was. The angles represent something being wrong and so there was much wrong about that place.
